A five-year suspension of tariff actions involving large civil aircraft disputes
The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) today released a notice for publication in the Federal Register regarding a five-year suspension of tariff actions under the Section 301 investigation involving the large civil aircraft disputes with the EU and UK.
The USTR notice [PDF 227 KB] provides that:
- The five-year suspension period begins July 4, 2021, with respect to tariffs on goods from the UK.
- The five-year suspension period begins July 11, 2021, with respect to tariffs on goods from the EU Member States.
