On 1 July 2021, no sales tax on certain duty-free purchases at international airports
Changes to the conditions for purchasing duty-free goods from international airports in Malaysia are effective 1 July 2021.
Among the measures are no sales tax on duty-free tobacco products. Also, the total value of goods to be exempted from sales tax is limited (depending on the type of travel).
