Mexico: Information to be provided by professional services organizations

A resolution (published in the official gazette on 24 May 2021) modifies the format of information reports to be submitted by organizations providing independent professional services (outsourcing or specialized services).

The modifications include new fields requiring:

  • More detailed information regarding providers of labor outsourcing services
  • Information from the legal representative of the user (natural person)
  • Information about operations or transactions for which virtual assets have been used

The modified provisions have an effective date of 1 September 2021.
