Deadline to file 2020 FATCA, CRS returns extended to 31 July 2021
The Barbados Revenue Authority has extended the deadline for Barbados financial institutions to file 2020 or prior year returns for FATCA and common reporting standard (CRS), or make any required corrections. The deadline is extended to 31 July 2021.
The tax authority also has encouraged reporting financial institutions to use this opportunity to standardize their FATCA and CRS submissions through the automatic exchange of financial information (AEOI) portal.
