Taiwan: Updated user guide, CRS portal

The tax authority of Taiwan updated version 1.4 of the user guide for the common reporting standard (CRS) portal.


The update amends the section detailing the procedure to delete account information (Section 9). The system will allow a financial institution to delete all accounts of a particular organization:

  • If a financial institution has a dissolution, abolition or elimination and has also completed the annual reporting operations
  • If an entity that is not a financial institution has performed the joint reporting and due diligence procedures for reporting to a financial institution and is mistakenly registered
