Oman: Tax treaty with Sri Lanka, entry into force

An income tax treaty between Oman and Sri Lanka has entered into force.

Representatives of the governments of Oman and Sri Lanka in August 2018 signed the income tax treaty. Both countries completed their ratification processes, and the income tax treaty entered into force. The treaty joined some 35 treaties in Oman’s network of income tax treaties.

Certain provisions of the treaty have an effective date of 1 January 2021.
