India: Updated user guides under FATCA, CRS regimes

India’s tax authority updated the user guides relating to the FATCA and common reporting standard (CRS) regimes.

  • Information request user guide version (v1.2) that includes additional batch sub-types and latest features
  • Information request—a quick reference guide version (v1.1) including a step-by-step process for installation, response generation, and validation
  • View requests and submit responses—a quick reference guide version (v1.1) including steps about information request batches and submitting responses
  • Reporting portal user guide version (v3.8) containing an update to the section about information request and a set of related “frequently asked questions” (FAQs)
  • Reporting portal FAQs version (v4.9) containing updated FAQs related to information requests
  • Request to information source—schema guide, the first version (v1.0)
