Bahrain: User fees for tax certificates, tax appeals

Ministerial Decision no. 33 of 2020 (published in the official gazette on 7 January 2021) prescribes the fees for the issuance of tax residency certificates, licenses of tax representatives and tax agents, and submissions of tax appeals.

Submission of an appeal to the Tax Appeals Review Committee (if multiple appeals on decisions or procedures within the same request, a separate fee will be charged for each decision or procedure appealed) 50/-

Cabinet approves memorandum on exchange of tax reports between countries

The cabinet on 4 January 2021 approved a memorandum regarding exchange of tax reports between relevant countries as required under Bahrain’s commitment to international standards and transparency of tax disclosures.
