Russia: Updated taxpayer information requirements
The Russian Federation’s tax authority updated guidance for electronic reporting of financial market information.
The updates specifically relate to taxpayer identification such as information about an individual’s name, foreign tax identification number (TIN), and country of birth, and regarding the identity of the owner of a legal entity contract.
Additionally, the tax authority issued an updated version (5.04) of XSD schema for data control of common reporting standard (CRS) reports filed by the financial market entities.
