The Inland Revenue Department issued updates in relation to the automatic exchange of information (AEOI) portal.

  • An updated version of the encryption tool is ready for download and is to be used going forward to encrypt financial account information data files before uploading to the AEOI portal.
  • Beginning 1 January 2021, data files must be prepared using Financial Account Information Return XML Schema (version 2.0) and test data files can now be submitted for validation through the “Submission of Test Data File” function.
