Barbados: Deadlines for 2019 FATCA, CRS returns
The Barbados Revenue Authority further extended to 31 October 2020 the reporting deadlines for FATCA and common reporting standard (CRS) returns for the 2019 reportable year, as a relief measure in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The deadline had previously been extended to 31 August 2020.
Additionally, requests regarding automatic exchange of financial information (AEOI) account deletion must be submitted in writing to the tax authority on the company’s letterhead, and all outstanding submissions must be completed before the accounts are deleted.
