Czech Republic: Rent relief program (COVID-19)

The Ministry of Industry and Trade in late June 2020 launched a rent program as a relief measure in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Applications for the rent program can be filed until 30 September 2020 by persons conducting retail activities or performing services. Under the program, amounts of up to 50% of rent payments can be granted for the months of April to June 2020. The percentage is 80% when the lessor is a public institution.
