Australia: Land tax relief in New South Wales
New South Wales landlords providing rent relief for eligible tenants in financial distress due to the coronavirus (COVID- 9) pandemic can apply for land tax concessions.
According to an announcement by the New South Wales government, eligible landlords can apply for a land tax concession of up to 25% of their 2020 land tax liability on relevant properties, provided the savings are passed on to tenants.
