Treasury guidance, Q&As on loan program

The U.S. Treasury Department released guidance regarding certain loan programs being made available pursuant to the “Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act” (CARES Act) (Pub. L. No. 116-136) as signed into law on March 27, 2020.

The Treasury guidance provides a set of “questions and answers” Q&As [PDF 41 KB] for air carriers, eligible businesses, and security businesses and also a loan application form [PDF 50 KB] to be used by air carriers and eligible businesses.

The Treasury loan application includes a notation that it is “…for informational purposes only, to enable potential applicants to begin preparing the required information. The Treasury Department is not accepting applications at this time. In the coming days, the Treasury Department will provide a webbased form for application submissions.”
