Poland: Relief for employers, financial support
The lower house of the Polish parliament on 28 March 2020 passed a bill to provide financial support to businesses in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The provisions in the legislation allow eligible large businesses and entrepreneurs to apply for benefits available under a fund established to support and cover employee salaries and the employer’s part of social security contributions.
