OMB’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) reported it completed its review of proposed rules relating to the standards for distilled spirits and the malt beverage net content labeling regulation.
Treasury regulations that are identified as “major” regulations are subject to review by OMB’s OIRA before being issued, pursuant to Executive Order 13771. OIRA completed its review on June 13, 2019.

The U.S. Treasury Department will be expected to release these regulations, now that OIRA review has been concluded.
