In India, the due dates for filing certain goods and services tax (GST) returns has been extended.

The following due dates have been extended:

  • Annual returns (forms GSTR-9, GSTR-9A, and reconciliation statement on GSTR-9C) extended until 31 August 2019
  • GST ITC-04 related to job work for the period July 2017 to June 2019 extended until 31 August 2019
  •  Concerning the “blocking of e-way bills” with regard to the non-filing of returns for two consecutive tax periods extended until 21 August 2019
