U.S. Ways and Means holds first hearing on 2017 tax law

The U.S. House Ways and Means Committee today held its first hearing on the tax law enacted at the end of 2017 (Pub. L. No. 115-97). The title of the hearing was “The 2017 Tax Law and Who It Left Behind.” The focus was on the distribution of tax benefits and the law’s economic impact.
