Alternative minimum funding standards for certain community newspaper plans

The U.S. House Ways and Means Committee today ordered reported H.R. 6377—a bill that would permit a plan sponsor to elect to apply alternative minimum funding standards to single-employer community newspaper plans that meet certain requirements.

The approved bill will be reported to the House floor. The Senate has not yet scheduled action on the legislation.
