The Ways and Means Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives has ordered reported the following 11 health-related tax bills:

What’s next?

The approved bills will be reported to the House floor for House action. The Senate has not yet scheduled action on any of the bills.

White House position

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) on July 23, 2018, issued a “Statement of Administration Policy” (SAPs) relating to H.R. 6311, H.R. 6199, and H.R. 184. The SAPs indicate that if the bills were presented to the president in their current form, “his advisors would recommend that he sign the bill[s] into law.”
