New member, subcommittee chairs for Ways and Means

Ways and Means member Pat Tiberi (R-OH) is retiring from Congress this month. He will be replaced on the Ways and Means Committee by Rep. Darin LaHood (R-IL).

Tiberi’s retirement has resulted in a reshuffling of subcommittee chairs. The three new subcommittee chairs will be:

  • Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-FL) will chair the Tax Policy Subcommittee 
  • Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL) will chair the Health Subcommittee. 
  • Rep. Lynn Jenkins (R-KS) will chair the Oversight Subcommittee.
