Community information

Columbus is a vibrant Midwestern city and is commonly known as the "Heart of Ohio." The city boasts of being a shopping and dining lover's dream, of being home to the largest retailers and restaurant chains in America. Columbus although not the center of the Midwest, is within a two hour flight to most of the largest, metropolitan cities in the country. The city is home to some of the biggest and most successful corporations in the U.S. including : Limited Brands, Express, Cardinal Health, Honda America Nationwide Insurance, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Electric Power, Wendy's, Abbott Nutrition, and much more. What attracts people to live and stay in Columbus is the balance between suburban and city life where one can work and play.

Columbus, Ohio has a population of 1.7 million people and is the largest city in the state of Ohio and the 15th largest metropolitan area in the country. Columbus is one of the few cities whose economy and population thrived through the last quarter of the century. The city's economy is not based in one sector and ranges from retail to manufacturing.

In addition, the Columbus office is home to The Ohio State University. Columbus's nickname is "Buckeye Nation" where all around the city fans are either in Ohio Stadium or are watching the game from afar every Saturday during the season. With the lack of a franchise football or basketball team. Ohio State makes the city proud by always being a contending opponent for national titles.
