Will Williams is the Vice Chair - Operations for KPMG in the U.S. Previously he was National Managing Partner for KPMG’s Tax practice, where he oversaw a team of nearly 9,000 partners and professionals and leads a more than $2.8 billion business. His responsibilities span across all tax disciplines—federal, international, and state and local tax, as well as specialty practices such as economic and valuation services, mergers and acquisitions, and global mobility services.
Prior to becoming National Managing Partner, Will served for two years as the National Leader of KPMG’s Economic & Valuation Services practice as well as the East Regional Service Line Leader of KPMG’s Economic & Valuation Services practice.
In addition to these roles, Will has more than 20 years of professional consulting experience, primarily focusing on structuring, pricing, and documenting intercompany transactions to comply with U.S. and OECD tax regulations. Furthermore, Will has worked with clients in valuing closely held business entities, securities, and intangible assets to meet financial and tax regulatory requirements.
Prior to joining KPMG in 1998, Will completed his International MBA at the University of South Carolina, with a concentration in international finance. He earned his BA degree in business administration from Furman University, graduating with honors.
