Michael J. Nolan is the vice chair of innovation and enterprise solutions at KPMG LLP. He is responsible for the life cycle of innovation, which includes trends and disruption analysis, organic growth, corporate development and M&A, alliances, knowledge and collaboration management, and investment management. Before assuming his current role in July 2015, Mike was global partner-in-charge for KPMG’s Risk Consulting Services Group. He is a former member of the firm’s board of directors. Mike has more than three decades of experience providing audit and advisory services to energy, consumer and industrial companies. He has experience rendering internal audit sourcing, enterprise risk management, Sarbanes-Oxley assistance, regulatory compliance and process improvement/control enhancement services. He serves as account executive for several global accounts. Consulting magazine named him to its list of “Top 25 Consultants” for 2014 in the category of “Excellence in Leadership.” Mike received his BBA degree in accounting summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
