Phil advises private equity funds as well as domestic and foreign corporations on the tax implications of acquisitions, debt offerings, spin-offs, redemptions, and recapitalizations. Phil joined KPMG as a partner in the M&A tax practice in February 2002. Prior to joining KPMG, Phil worked for 14 years providing M&A tax advice for both private equity funds and FORTUNE 500 companies.
