U.S. – State Laws & Regulations

The Polaris Project evaluates state regulations using 10 categories of laws regarding human trafficking, punishing traffickers, and support for survivors. As of July 2014, 39 states have “Tier 1” laws that fight human trafficking. (source: polarisproject.org).
