KPMG UK is expanding the firm’s global e-discovery offering with the addition of Relativity’s cloud-based solution, RelativityOne.
RelativityOne is designed to help users better address the risks and costs involved with e-discovery in the context of litigation, regulatory enquiries and investigations, as well as the acquisition, management, and analysis of large data sets.
KPMG’s Forensic Technology practice will offer RelativityOne through eight datacentres globally, supporting e-discovery engagements and investigations conducted by over 3,000 forensic colleagues in almost 50 countries. All KPMG clients using RelativityOne now also have access to its next generation interface, Aero UI, enabling them to drive more performance gains and efficiencies.
Through the deployment of the RelativityOne platform, KPMG is able to provide clients full control over their data, simplifying their IT and cloud transformation journeys, and reducing costs and reputational risks while increasing operational efficiency.
Magnus Becher, Director of Forensic Technology at KPMG UK, said:
“The latest analysis from KPMG’s Fraud Barometer predicts a tsunami of fraud cases expected in 2021 due to the global economic uncertainties driven by the COVID-19 pandemic. The resulting investigations, litigation and regulatory scrutiny will require companies to capture and analyse data, and to respond quickly to these contentious and potentially harmful situations.”
“Data security is also of paramount importance when hosting commercially sensitive data, with recent cyber breaches in the legal services industry illustrating the risks to companies and law firms from reliance on legacy IT infrastructure that leaves their data insufficiently protected.”
“We’re delighted to announce our expansion with Relativity and our ability to combine cloud technologies, Forensic subject matter expertise and managed services to deliver market-leading technology and analytics solutions to our clients.”
Steve Couling, Managing Director and VP of Sales, EMEA at Relativity said:
“As a Relativity partner for almost a decade, KPMG truly understands the value of bringing the best technology to their customers.
“Their global RelativityOne offering underscores their dedication to providing their clients with access to a powerful and secure cloud-based e-discovery experience.”
