KPMG has appointed Alfonso Marone as UK Head of Deal Advisory for the Technology, Media & Telecoms sector, after almost three years as a partner with the firm.
Since joining the KPMG partnership in 2018, Alfonso has led strategy and deal advisory engagements in technology-enabled services, B2B information and media for a variety of corporate and private equity clients.
Alfonso has 25 years of international experience in deals and value creation and prior to joining the firm, held corporate executive and strategic advisory leadership roles across Fortune 50, FTSE 250 and blue-chip Private Equity houses, including NBCUniversal, Euromoney Institutional Investor, Spectrum Strategy Consultants and O2.
In his expanded role, Alfonso will lead an experienced team of 15 Partners and Directors and over 100 practitioners exclusively focused on the TMT industries. He is tasked with further building relationships with investors, boards and shareholders and supporting them across the entire ownership cycle, in the UK and globally, in partnership with other KPMG firms worldwide.
