KPMG has appointed a new director to its Asset and Wealth Management practice to support the growing demand from clients for transformation and compliance support.
Samantha Carruthers joins from EY where she was previously Associate Partner in their risk and regulation team focused on wealth and asset management. Prior to that she worked in the Enforcement and Financial Crime division of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) for seven years where she led high profile investigations into the conduct of both firms and senior management.
At KPMG Samantha will focus on advising clients on regulatory change including the senior manager and certification regime. She will work closely with Bill Packman, head of KPMGs asset and wealth management consultancy practice, and Mike Walters, Head of Financial Risk Management, KPMG UK.
