KPMG UK appoints Pat Race as a partner in its pensions investment advisory team.
KPMG UK has appointed Pat Race as a partner in its pensions investment advisory team. Pat joins KPMG from Mercer where as senior partner he fulfilled many roles including leading the firm’s investment business.
Pat will join KPMG this month and will be based in London. He will work with Nick Evans’ team on all aspects of pension investments, from strategy to fund manager appointments.
Nick Evans, Partner, KPMG investment advisory and trustee services, says “This new role demonstrates the growing strength of KPMG’s pensions practice, as an increasing number of trustees and businesses seek our support to navigate difficult markets, continued low interest rates and mounting regulatory challenges. I am immensely proud that someone of Pat’s standing in the pensions arena shares our enthusiasm and ethos and is eager to join our team.”
Pat Race adds: “KPMG’s team has been doing some really innovative work to help trustees and scheme managers ride out volatility, de-risk and better assess scheme liabilities. I look forward to working with the firm’s clients to help them tackle these issues and deliver the best results for members in what is a challenging time for the pensions industry.”
