With the Spring Budget 2021 fast approaching, this article outlines where you will be able to find our initial insights on the Chancellor’s announcements as well as details of our webinar. In addition, a special Budget edition of Tax Matters Digest will be published on 5 March 2021, where we will provide our more detailed commentary on the most significant measures announced. The Government has also recently announced that the Finance Bill will be published on 11 March 2021 and, in a change to usual practice, certain tax consultations and calls for evidence traditionally published on Budget Day will instead be published on 23 March 2021, a date it is referring to as ‘Tax Day’.

Don’t forget that you can also now sign up to our Budget 2021 webinar taking place on Friday 5 March from 12:00 – 13:00 in which our economic and tax specialists will analyse the Budget and the impact of the measures on the economy, international and domestic businesses, employers and individuals.
In the meantime you can also read our Budget 2021 predictions in which Melissa Geiger our Head of Tax Policy and Sharon Baynham review the Chancellor’s options and you can watch Melissa talk about her Budget expectations on LinkedIn.
