Watch Michelle Hinchcliffe, UK Chair of Audit, who joined a panel debate discussing the future of the audit profession.
Michelle Hinchcliffe, UK Chair of Audit, has been busy influencing the debate on the future of the audit profession. At a recent event, Michelle spoke in a panel discussion organised by the Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation. She appeared alongside Sir Donald Brydon, who led the Independent review into the Quality and Effectiveness of audit, and Natasha Landell-Mills, Head of Stewardship at Sarasin & Partners.
The panellists shared their views on ‘how to fix audit’ in a constructive and wide-ranging discussion where KPMG’s leading position on embracing change was acknowledged. The speakers recognised that all participants in the debate have a responsibility for ensuring audit and company reporting meets stakeholders’ needs and that they need to act together.
