Our world is changing ... and changing fast.

Companies are facing different opportunities; different risks; driving growth in a different way. Disrupt, or be disrupted.

Your financing provides the lifeblood for this change: the capital to invest; the flexibility to deliver change; the relationships to move at speed; the headroom to react.

We have been advising companies on financing strategies for over 20 years. And more than at any point I can remember in that history, clients are asking us whether they have the right financing strategy to succeed.

The world may be changing fast, but so are the financing markets.

Gone are the days when four parties made up the market. Today funding partners exist to cover every type of opportunity, every different strategy, every different risk profile – but knowing who and how best to access them is the key to gaining competitive advantage.

We have been helping companies deliver real change:

  • Redefining capital allocation or funding strategies, to balance investment priorities and risk appetite
  • Position strategies to maximise lender support or access those funders best positioned to support their future growth aspirations
  • Access new markets to get the funding, or the flexibility, to support working capital and deliver investment or M&A
  • Drive meaningful improvements in terms, covenants or funding costs

So if I was in your shoes what would I be thinking?

  • Have you reviewed your financing to test whether it really is fit-for-purpose in this ‘new world’?
  • Does your financing allow you to use your balance sheet effectively and efficiently
  • Do you have access to the right funding, or lenders, to invest in your business or pre-empt the competition for that life-changing acquisition?
  • What in your financing arrangements might be holding you back … or worse still, be your Achilles heel?

If the answer to these questions is positive then you are likely to be well positioned to deliver your strategy with confidence.

But if you are more uncertain, now may be the right time for you too to consider the things you too could do to control your financing destiny.
