The CMA published the provisional conclusions of its review into the investment consulting and fiduciary management (“IC&FM”) industry on 18 July. This article outlines key points from the review as well as results from a recent KPMG survey on some of these key issues.
On 25 July 2017, Greg Wright, Pensions Investment Director, hosted a webinar to discuss the findings and the proposed remedies of the provisional conclusions published by the CMA. As part of the webinar our speakers invited the audience, made up of pension fund trustees and sponsors, to share their thoughts on certain key issues, thereby giving an indication of how schemes might react to these key issues.
