Airline stocks around the world tumbled as the news of Brexit filtered through. Shares in listed UK airlines lost as much as a third of their value. In this article, James Stamp, KPMG’s Global Chair of Aviation, discusses whether airline stocks falling was a knee-jerk reaction to uncertainty or a reflection of a change to the sector’s long-term fundamentals.
