Tim leads KPMG’s Management Consulting practice for Asset Management. In this role, Tim heads up a team of management consulting and risk consulting professionals, across the Asset Management spectrum – for clients including wealth managers, private banks, institutional investment managers, life & pensions companies, asset owners, platforms and asset servicing firms.
Tim joined KPMG in June 2016 from the private equity firm Old Burlington Ventures, where he was a Partner. He has previously been CEO for Babcock & Brown (UK) Ltd, and COO EMEA leading the London office, operations and services for a global listed investment manager across EMEA.
Prior to this Tim was at Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock) where he initially joined as Head of Change for Europe, responsible for all investment and operations projects in the EMEA region. Latterly he was appointed COO for the exchange-traded funds business, iShares. In this role, he was a member of the three person executive leadership team, creating and managing a rapidly-growing suite of investment products. Tim was also a main board director of iShares plc.
Earlier in his career, Tim was one of the founding partners of Bluerock Consulting and during this time he spent one year on assignment as Operations Director for J.P. Morgan FundsHub. He has also led Merrill Lynch Investment Management’s entry into the stakeholder pensions market.
Before Bluerock Tim was in private banking and corporate finance with UBS, working for several years in Switzerland and the US in senior operations and strategy roles.
