Richard joined KPMG in 2019. Prior to this he had three years of data architecture experience with the Bank of England, immediately preceded by two years of prudential supervisory support; included MI creation and data quality assurance. He is currently a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Corporate Reporting Services team which is housed in the Solutions & Digital practice.
Richard architected the Bank of England and Prudential Regulatory Authority’s XBRL taxonomies, was a member of the European Banking Group’s XBRL subgroup & the IT Sounding Board and the European Central Bank’s Working Group for Statistical and Supervisory Data. In his time at the Bank of England Richard’s work was nominated for several global awards and won the Banking Technology Award (2018) – Best Use of Regtech.
Richard’s role at KPMG involves designing, implementing and on-boarding solutions for clients as well as managing a team of business analysts and developers.
