Gareth has over 20 years restructuring experience with KPMG, and with McGrathNicol in Australia. Gareth specialises in working with companies, their financiers and other stakeholders through periods of stress and underperformance. This work focusses on financial restructurings, raising new finance, operational turnaround and cash management, negotiating with multiple stakeholder groups.
Gareth has led assignments with turnover ranging from $20 million to over $200 billion and debt from $1 million to over $30 billion.

Gareth’s previous experience includes leading KPMG’s thought leadership and co-developing and delivering KPMG’s C-Suite leadership programme, working with Senior Executives as they prepare to join their Executive Boards. Gareth has also completed a secondment to RBS’ leveraged finance group.
Gareth has worked across a range of industry sectors including retail, leisure, consumer and industrial products, real estate, financial services and energy; and jurisdictions including the UK, Australia, across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the US.
Gareth recently ran seven marathons on seven continents in seven days, raising £100,000 for two charities.
