Robin is a Director in our public sector and health advisory practice.
Robin is a Director in our public sector and health advisory practice, where he focusses on developing sustainable models of care in the out-of-hospital sector. His experience spans a 17-year career in management consultancy, technology and strategic advisory, business development, sales and business start-up/leadership. He has a diverse background having worked within the professional services sector as well as founded, developed and grown his own businesses in the healthcare and technology sectors.
Robin is well respected within UK healthcare strategy circles, publishing thought leadership articles in the Guardian and the Health Service Journal, as well as contributing to the work of Reform and the Nuffield Trust on the future of out-of-hospital health and care models. His healthcare experience is very current, having supported a number of the emerging primary care multi-specialty community provider organisations through their Vanguard applications and successfully led a number of bids to the Prime Minister’s GP Challenge Fund.
Robin has been involved with healthcare strategy and technology leadership since 2004. Since that time he has worked on some of the most interesting strategic transformation programmes in the sector. Prior to healthcare, Robin’s background was in both engineering (aerospace) and management consultancy (Andersen, Accenture, Hedra). He also has significant experience in corporate development, having led the buy-out of a digital agency and a merger within the UK media sector, and latterly working with investors within his own business portfolio.
He is a former MCA (Management Consultancy Association) award nominee for care pathway development and has led teams to winning the Guardian Public Services Award for Digital Excellence, a number of Medilink awards and four HSJ Awards.
