Kitetsu Takahashi

KPMG in Japan

He began his career in public service as a bureaucrat because he wanted to contribute to the further development of Japan and, in particular, promote university research. He moved to the private sector and chose to join the KPMG in Japan’s Strategy Group for two reasons: He felt that being a part of KPMG’s international network and capabilities was another way that he could contribute to the development of Japanese industry. He was inspired by the Strategy team’s work in resolving client’s problems, given his own passion for problem solving. After he joined the Japanese firm, he found the work challenging due to his lack of business experience. With the support of his colleagues and his own appetite for knowledge, he has learned a great deal. His business skills are developing every day. Working here stimulates his brain, and he is really satisfied with his job.
