KPMG in the UK
Tom has over 17 years’ experience as a consultant and pensions actuary, advising assessing and managing pensions risk, with a particular emphasis on pensions risk transfer.
Tom is a Director in KPMG’s Pensions team based in London. He leads KPMG in the UK’s 20 strong specialist pensions insurance team, that clients in more than 230 insurance transactions ranging in size from £1 million to more than £2 billion, which has a combined total of more than £27 billion of liabilities.
Before specialising in bulk annuities, Tom worked for a number of years in KPMG’s Pensions M&A advisory team in both the UK and Germany firm, giving strategic advice to buyers and sellers on how to manage and appropriately price, pensions risk in corporate transaction situations.
Prior to joining KPMG, Tom started his career in 2001 with Mercer.
