Richard joined KPMG in London in 1988 and audit and gained investigation experience in a general practice environment before specialising in transaction advisory work in the mid-1990s. He became a partner in 2001 and now leads the Life Sciences deal advisory team in London.
Richard is a senior transaction services partner with significant experience of leading transaction advisory work for global clients. He works in the major corporate client team London and he has been a partner based in Moscow between 2006 and 2010. He is responsible for leading the transaction advisory relationship with a number of large companies.
Richard’s experience in Life Sciences includes consumer health, OTC, pharmaceuticals, pharmacy wholesale, pharmacy retail, generics, established product divestments, medical devises and diabetes (insulin production and devises).
Richard led many multi-billion dollar deals for major corporate clients including acting for GSK in its $60 billion joint venture with Pfizer in consumer health signed in 2018, GSK’s $4 billion divestment of Horlicks in 2018 and Nestlé's $10 billion divestment of its Skin Health business in 2019.
