Louise Sunderland

Director – Infrastructure, Government and Health

KPMG in the UK

Louise has a leading role at KPMG in skills and productivity, inclusive growth and place-based reform. She leads regional focus for key clients across the South West and has recently led the following projects:

  • Developing a City Plan for a major UK City, working for the Mayor and across all public and private sector institutions
  • Producing a future skills analysis and recommendations for a Transport body
  • Working across central and local government on skills, productivity, devolution and growth
  • Devolution deals and cases, across complex stakeholders and landscapes

Prior to joining KPMG, Louise spent six years working for the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), delivering transformational change with large teams and multiple, senior stakeholders.

She was the Director of Change, Performance and Shared Services, the SRO for two major programmes and the Senior Information Risk Owner for Corporate Services. Louise implemented Portfolio Management into MoJ and received a complementary review from the Institute of Government.

Louise has also worked in local public sector leading on various areas including Regeneration, Skills, Welfare and Economic Development in the North West, Midlands and London, giving her hands-on experience of delivering public sector reform.
