Ray is Head of the Pensions practice for the Thames Valley and Head of Trustee Services.
Ray has built up a wealth of experience over the last 25 years, covering practically all areas that corporate sponsors of UK pension schemes might encounter. These include funding negotiations with a wide range of innovative funding agreements, asset-backed funding structures, scheme mergers and de-mergers, insurance transactions, full solvent and insolvent wind-ups, setting up new schemes and liability management exercises.
He is a Fellow of the Institute and faculty of Actuaries and Scheme Actuary to a wide range of UK defined benefit schemes and also has a portfolio of corporate clients. His style is to be collaborative with all parties and to clearly communicate the rationale backing up the objectives of his clients.
