Eric leads KPMG’s Corporate Treasury Services group in the UK, which is growing a multidisciplinary group of over 25 focusing on corporate treasury matters with specialists in cash management and banking, payments, treasury systems, treasury process design, risk management and accounting.
Eric has led numerous corporate treasury advisory and assurance engagements including target operating model design and implementation, treasury systems selection and implementations, and design and implementation of risk management policies and frameworks, as well as technical accounting for financial instruments.
— Carve out of a stand-alone treasury function, including systems processes, and accounting for a component of a large dual US and UK listed energy group in preparation for sale.
— Establishing an autonomous treasury function target operating model (policies, processes, systems, risk management, and controls) for a $20bn refinery business in preparation for the integration of two new investors.
— Establishing the SOx processes for a US and UK listed energy treasury function.
— Treasury system architecture and selection advice for a US and UK listed oil and gas Company.
— Establishing the target operating model including benchmarking and the roadmap from the “as is” to the “to be” treasury state for a large media company.
— In addition to the offshoring arrangement noted above, Eric has worked with a number of organisations who have moved back and middle office activities offshore including one US and UK listed consumer goods group who moved front, middle, and back office to Eastern Europe.
