Neil is a Director in KPMG’s North restructuring team and is the national restructuring champion for construction
Neil has over 15 years’ of professional experience assisting businesses and management teams where there is an element of underperformance or financial distress.
Neil has led engagements across the UK and Europe, working closely and collaboratively with management teams to understand the key drivers to underperformance and the options available to deliver a turnaround which is robust and sustainable. Neil has experience across a wide range of sectors and sizes of business, from retailers, wholesalers and logistics providers to construction and industrial manufacturing.
Neil is a qualified insolvency practitioner, so when appropriate, he supports and works alongside management teams to understand and produce contingency plans, to optimise realisations in distress situations, and working on formal insolvency appointments. Supporting and working closely with the businesses key stakeholders throughout the process, specifically banks, Asset-Based Lenders (ABLs) and Private Equity Firms (PE).
