Linda started her career at KPMG in 1984, initially in audit. After spending two years at the London Stock Exchange in the mid 1990s Linda joined KPMG Transactions Services in 1997.
Her current role is head of KPMG’s UK Capital Markets Advisory Group which provides services to companies of all sizes from all over the world which are considering an IPO in London and to listed companies which are embarking on an equity fundraising or other major transaction. She is also a Board member of KPMG LLP.
Linda’s role is to advise clients on all stages of the IPO process from initial planning through to preparation for life as a public company. Her clients include companies of all sizes from the UK and overseas seeking admission to either AIM or the Main Market. As well as acting as reporting accountant for companies seeking a London listing Linda spends a lot of time helping clients prepare for the transition to a PLC.
Until March 2018 Linda was a member of the UKLA’s Listing Authority Advisory Panel and is currently a member of the LSE’s AIM Advisory Group. She is a regular speaker at conferences about the Listing Rules and the AIM Rules and contributes to various technical publications on the subject.
Linda has advised numerous UK and foreign businesses on their Main Market and AIM floats. Linda’s projects include the IPOs of M&G, NinetyOne, AJ Bell, Quilter, Ascential, Worldpay, Puretech, Jimmy Choo, Crest Nicholson, Al Noor, Merlin Entertainments, and many others.
