Farhaz advises clients on valuation issues surrounding M&A, restructuring, financial reporting, tax planning and disputes.
He has provided fairness opinions to boards and creditors in the context of proposed transactions and restructurings, including transactions implemented via UK Schemes of Arrangement and Part 26A of the UK Companies Act 2006. Farhaz has also performed several shareholder, court and tribunal appointed independent expert valuations across a range of sectors, and regularly presents to legal and finance professionals on valuation issues.
In addition, he has provided valuation advice in the context of new investments and regular revaluations to several investment and sovereign wealth funds, as well as to corporate clients in relation to M&A transactions and financial reporting, including the valuation of intangible assets and goodwill.
Farhaz has extensive global valuations experience and has worked on valuation assignments across the UK, Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East. His experience has covered a range of sectors, including automotive, advertising, aerospace & defence, broadcasting, B2B information, consumer goods & retail, industrials & manufacturing, leisure & entertainment and professional services, as well as early stage and more established technology business, and has included the valuation of minority and controlling interests, as well interests in joint ventures and partnerships.
