Jason is a partner in the KPMG Restructuring group, having joined KPMG in 1998.
He specialises in providing advice to lenders, regulators (including central banks) and management teams in respect of underperforming and distressed businesses, including financial institutions. While Jason’s primary focus is Europe, he also has experience of restructuring situations in Africa, the Middle East and North America. Over the last 20 years Jason has worked with companies in a broad variety of industries and has benefited from a secondment to the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Jason’s restructuring experience is broad having advised stakeholders in implementing both consensual and non-consensual transactions. This has included dealing with complex cross border and public company issues, rapidly sourcing new management solutions, dealing with the consequences of liquidity crisis, managing complex operational turnaround issues, implementing Mergers & Accquisitions (M&A) solutions and actively engaging in stakeholder negotiations for the benefit of lenders. Latterly, he has focused on assisting distressed banks build and execute robust Non-Performing-Loan (NPL) reduction strategies.
