Tim is the Chief Operating Officer and member of the UK Board and UK Executive Leadership Team for KPMG LLP. He is responsible for driving forward our operational and performance agenda in line with the firm’s strategic goals.
Prior to this, Tim was Global Head of Management Consulting, where he worked with our international network of firms to help organisations identify and solve the challenges they face.
During his 29 years at KPMG, Tim has held a number of leadership roles on global accounts, led the development of innovative solutions and managed sector and service businesses within our largest markets (both European and US businesses). He has spent the majority of his time working on ground-breaking business transformations, in both the energy and high technology sectors.
Between 1993 and 2003, his client was a leading multinational technology company in Silicon Valley and he was a key programme manager on their global business transformation including N. America, Europe and Asia. This involved leading teams designing and implementing solutions across their R&D, manufacturing, sales, services, finance, IT and procurement functions. The business transformation included implementing leading technologies to support new business models that leveraged shared services, retail, e-commerce and operational outsourcing.
He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and prior to KPMG, worked for Esso as a management accountant and BP as an environmental scientist. He has a BSc in Chemistry and Management from City University, London.
